Anna just lost in straight sets to Katerina Sbrebotnik and so the second-best streak as come to an end.

Is anyone surprised? Or did she just run out of gas after playing so much tennis the past two weeks?

Good start for her but I guess she still has a way to go.

As I said elsewhere, it is disappointing for her, but it is not the first time where winners of pre-Oz Open tournaments fall early in Melbourne. Anyway, I doubt that she would trade her two titles for one round or more in Flinders Park

i think it is a surprise she lost to Srebotnik. Anna won ten-straight matches without dropping a set and beat some very good players a long the way.

Katerina on the otherhand has been a fledgling player the past few years despite having loads of talent.

I was definitely surprised at the result.
