Erika Andreeva (born 24 Jun, 2004) is from Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. She is one of the hottest U14 prospects in Europe.

Last month Erika won very prestigious U16 tournament in Milan - Torneo Avvenire. This tournament was won by Björn Borg, Ivan Lendl, Yannick Noah, Mats Wilander, Stefan Edberg, Goran Ivanišević, Marat Safin, Roger Federer, Gaël Monfils, Novak Đoković, Juan Martín del Potro, Marin Čilić, Fabio Fognini and Hana Mandlíková, Conchita Martínez, Jennifer Capriati, Martina Hingis, Flavia Pennetta, Roberta Vinci, Maria Sarapova.

Final match (2,5 hours thriller) in a very good quality:

Also Erika has younger sister Mirra, born 2007. Some people think that she is more talented than Erika. Photo from 2016:

Day 2: :hi5:

Another strong tie by Mother Rusha! :yeah:  Meanwhile, Czech Rep is struggling as Noskova flopped to Dimitrova yesterday and Kabbaj today   Watch her suddenly find her peak again later as she faces Dianka...  They'll have to get past Japan to make the semis though.

As for Russia, they're taking on Belgium, who also have won their first 2 ties and are 6-0 as well in matches so far, so a win over them will be required to make the semis. :bounce: Davayte! :armed: :cheer::cheer::cheer:

Interesting! I saw her name and thought they were unrelated, as Andreev(a) is a very common surname. Maybe you could rename the thread to sth like "Siberian Sisters Erika & Mirra Andreeva" so that we could follow both's results here? :)

Mirra is 18-2 so far this year. :worship: Made the final of G12 Luzhniki Cup in March, won 2 G12s in Austria last month and is through to the QFs of Cat. 3 G14 Pirogovskiy Cup this week (she's received a MDWC there, routined 7th seed Zueva 4 & 4 in R2 :hi5:), which means she is on a winning streak of 13 as of today! :rocker2: :cheer:

As for Erika, she's 25-6 so far this week (not counting team events). She also won the Cat. 2 G14 in Rakovnik (her first title of the year) back in May. :)

As an uploader of Torneo Avvenire final, what are you think about Erika, @HuHu?
Re: Erika Andreeva ~ Siberian Force ~

Erika came in tennis thanks to her mom. During pregnancy she watched Australian Open. She falled in love with this sport and she decided that she will definitely bring her daughter to the tennis school.

Erika's mother really liked Amélie Mauresmo's game.

Erika's favourite surface is clay. She dream to win all Grand Slams but most of all Roland Garros.

Gynina is two years older, which is critical advantage at this age.

I don't watch kids' tennis that much, so I can't say whether she is good for someone of her age or not. She plays quite well for someone of her height, though.
