jrj - THe Slams are worth twice what the Tier I's are worth. So if a player wins all nine Tier I's, they'll have more points than a player who wins the Grand Slam. Maybe that's not right. But for the tour to survive, the small tournaments have to have SOME importance. You can't make the Slams worth ten times a Tier I. Otherwise the 'name' players won't play except the Slams, the crowds don't show, and the tournament fails.
