Congratulations to Steven, our Trader of the week.

Congratulations to Doctor G/Croat123/Easy, who all successfully nominated Martina Hingis for Tokyo.

This weeks Bank is $79.03.

All nominations are to be in before the start of play in the main draw (Thats the first rule change)

This weeks Nomination is this:

Who will be the highest ranked non-seeded player to lose last in The Open De Gaz France?

Some Changes:

Players outside the Top 20 who beat:

Players 16-20, will recieve 2 cents per ranking difference plus normal winning amounts...

I.E: if 50 beats 20, then 50 will recieves $0.60 (bonus) plus $0.10 (normal Tier 2 Victory) for a total of $0.70 per share.

Players outside the Top 20 who beat:

Players 11-15: will recieve 3 cents per ranking difference plus normal payment

Players 6-10: will recieve 4 cents per ranking difference plus normal payment

Players 2-5: will recieve 5 cents per ranking difference plus normal payment

Player 1: Will recieve 6 cents per ranking difference plus normal payment.

All players in the top 20 who beat each other will now recieve scaled bonuses as well For Example, the number 1 player will recieve 1 cent plus normal payment per share for beating number 20. 1.5 cents for 19, 2 cents for 18..etc etc.

The scale is reversed for 20 beating 1, 19 beating 1 etc etc.

In other words, it is more then concievable to hold high ranked players and still post a high profit, instead of buying lowly ranked players and hoping for upsets as well.

I know it sounds a bit confusing, but the program has been devised for excel and will take care of all the calculations......

Happy Trading this week.

What a brilliant recover! :D I was last at some stage during the week, I'm a little bit surprised to find myself on the podium and entering the top 10 overall. :)

Waiting for the main draw to be released, I just would like to:

Sell
Everything I own

Thank you for the great effort, Adrian. The new rules seems very interesting, especially the nomination one, I'm sure it will bring many sursprises. :)

Have a nice week! :wavey:

All done :)

WR: you have
7 Daniilidou
4 Poutchek
4 Venus (thats all you could afford)

Thanks Doc...it should be interesting.

As this is probably the longest break between tournaments we are going to get (2 days) I thought I'd give you all something to think about.

Just to reiterate a little...

This weeks Bank is $79.03.

This weeks Nomination is this:

So you understand, if you have a unseeded player nominated and she wins, you lose.

It must be the highest ranked non-seeded player who is last to LOSE.

Hi...here is a rough outline...

THE RULES OF THE SHAREMARKET GAME.

1. As an investor, you recieve $150.00 in fantasy money to invest in shares that are listed on this site

2. Everything that happens to that share affects the price. That means Buying, selling, winning and losing will affect the price of a share

3.Doubles and mixed doubles are also included, although more money is allotted for winning in singles.

4. The amount a share earns when winning a match includes who they played and the strength of the tournament (IE: Grandslam pays the most, followed by Munich, fed and Hopman cup, Tier V downwards, including challenger events)

5. Shareprices are updated on a daily basis

6. A share cannot be bought or sold if the are on court, or I deem them to be on court.

7. When buying or selling shares, they are done in the order that the request to buy or sell is recieved.

8. Request may be made through E-Mail, WtaWorld, Kim Clijsters board, Or any other device where you can contact me.

9. At the end of a tournament the 2 players in singles and the 4 players in doubles are not sold until after the final update of that tournament

10. At the end of the tournament, players that are in profit pay 10% tax on that profit into the Sharemarket Bank. That money is the used the following week in "The Tournament Pick" Changed

11. "The tournament pick" is an optional part of the game, where you buy at least one share of a player and nominate them to win the tournament, before the completion of round 1. The winner recieves the money from the bank (or part of, if multiple winners)

12. Any further questions, or you feel I've left something out please contact me....
