Who do you think is better!? or more talented??

Earlier this year Adriana took a plummet due to her Aus op[en pts to defend, and was overtaken by her sister Antonella, but lately she has steadily come back to overtake her sisters ranking and is back in the top 100, GO ADRIANA!!!!!

I would say, although Antonella hits amazingly soft, she still seems to trouble more players than Adriana(i.e., Myskina at U.S. Open, gave away one match point:(...!).

In my opinion, Antonella might be a little better in the long run, and she did make, I believe, her first WTA title earlier this year.

Yet Adriana has had consistently better results, if Antonella was that talented she would have done more by now.

IMO Adriana is better. She was a top 100 player a few years back before she had some injuries, then she had that great Australian Open run last year along with other pretty solid results. Antonella I don't feel has proven herself to get those consistent results on the tour, and I don't think her game is as good either. Her serve is very weak (though Adriana's isn't *that* much better), and with groundstrokes I would say they are quite even except Adriana wins on the forehand side. Antonella's forehand so awkward looking

Anyway, they're both really sweet actually, so I hope that they can keep themselves in the top 100 and keep improving. :)

She lost to Rita Grande in the Casablanca final.
Grande actually bookmarked that tournament by taking out Adriana first in her opening match then Antonella in the finals.

I like Adriana more. She made about six quarterfinals last year including the AO before she lost to Martina to make her the first Italian woman to make it to the AO Quarterfinals.

Antonella's forehand meanwhile is weird because she kinda just flicks the ball back and doesen't followthrough with the swing. Yet she makes the second round of grandslams more consistently than Adriana.

It's just weird. Adriana claims her favorite surface is hardcourts but has never made it past the first round of the US Open.

I both like and think Adriana is the better player. She's just been in a funk this year, but seems to be breaking out of it now.

As has been said both seem like really pleasent women based on interviews I've seen with them. Adriana was so happy to make that Australian Open quarter final. I'd say Adriana has a bit more power and more variety of shots than her younger sister but Antonella is a little bit quicker. Good to see Adriana back in the top 100 - hope Antonella can get back in too - she's slipped just outside it. Antonella leads their head to head.

Adriana Serra Zanetti (ITA) vs. Antonella Serra Zanetti (ITA)

1999-04-26 Bol Clay R32 Antonella Serra Zanetti (ITA) 6-2 6-3
2002-09-09 Shanghai Hardcourt R16 Adriana Serra Zanetti (ITA) 6-1 6-0
2003-03-03 Indian Wells Hardcourt R128 Antonella Serra Zanetti (ITA) 6-7(3) 6-3 6-3

Antonella Serra Zanetti (ITA) leads 2:1

That Shanghai meeting. Tied one-one then suddenly Adriana wins the next 11 games.

That meeting at Indian Wells was harsh. It was Adriana's birthday too. Antonella said she needed to buy a gift after that.

Adriana's favorite shot is the dropshot. There was a cool exchange in the AO against Daneila. Daneila dropshotted Adriana but Adriana got to the ball and returned it with a dropshot of her own. Dani was stumped.
