However, Serena should have the WTA print out some of her head- to-head statistics for the five players that are now ranked ahead of her. Serena holds an overall edge over Davenport (7-2) and Clijsters (4-0), but has a losing record (including at least one loss to each this year) to the other three: Capriati (2-4), Venus Williams (1-5), and Hingis (5-6).

Thats really not a bad record. I think she benefited from Venu's advice.

It seems the Davenport and Hingis have a better head-to head against the top players. And I thought Serena had beaten Venus more then once?

No Richard fixed the matches because he likes Venus more and demand that Serena loses everytime they play:D

Ryan - These are lifetime totals.

In the last two years, however, neither Hingis nor Davenport has fared well against VENUS.

Serena will improve those negative head-to-head numbers :p !
