Her Favorite Room is her design room she calls it the Thinking Box. She goes there to sketch and sew for hours usually 4-8 hours at a time. She speecialized in evening wear at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and for one final she spent three days straight in her Favorite Room. The room is small but the rest of the house big. She and her sister bought a one-acre lot in 2000 so they could build the kind of home they had in mind: a Mediterranean-style seven-bedroom place with common areas like the den, kitchen and dining room, but with two separate wings, one for each of them. She said it is functional but classic too. The only downside is that it's about 7,000 sq ft.(damn that is huge) so even when she and Venus are home together, they use they cell-phones to talk to each other.
She said she love where they are because it overlooks a golf course and it is very quite. She said they always knew they would end up in Florida.
Venus has her own design company, so she is responsible for most of the home decor. But she created that room. It's her no-frills design headquarters. She crazy in love with her desk chair, which can whirl around and go up and won, thanks to some foot pumps. She sits in the chair when she comes up with ideas for a new gowns. She's inspired by so many designers, but especially love Roterto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabanan, Versace and Tom Ford. She love the room so much that they are about to knock down one of the walls so they can extend it. Besides fashion the love of her life - the most handsome guy in the world - is her pit bull, Bambi. "I wake up looking at him every morning!"
She sits and imagine who will wear her dress some day. She has a fashion show for a ready-to-wear line, Aneres, on November 2.
The you have guys. Enjoy.
