Two 2017 Major Champions in the draw.
Seoul is the REAL 5th Slam.
Assuming Stephens doesn't withdraw. She would have entered here while her ranking was still somewhere around the 900 mark. I can see her playing both Wuhan and Beijing, as she also used her protected ranking to enter those bigger events. But playing an International in Asia, barely a week after winning a Slam? If she withdraws, she might not be able to re-use that protected ranking in another event, but it's not as if she's going to need it going forward anyway.

EDIT: She's also entered for Hong Kong, the week after Beijing, again using her protected ranking. That's four events in a row. It's very unlikely she will play them all, unless the organisers offer big appearance fees, which is possible.

With everything going on and involved with winning a Slam, especially in her home country.... I don't see her flying to Korea this week to get ready to play another tourney.... I give it like 5% chance, haha
