Potapova: I can't say I'd be able to name the entire squad, but I can name the guys I hang out with

Ukrainians on Twitter: Potapova can't name a single Spartak player!

And that's their MO, twisting and turning statements and actions of Russian public figures in order to make them look as badly as possible. Which, don't get me wrong, is completely understandable. A media was is a part of the war. It just means we shouldn't take everything they say as gospel, because they do have an agenda of their own.
"I can name" but she didn't. Yes, I can name the whole Yellow Pages too, if I check. She's as dumb as a brick. But that's not the issue. The problem is she's evil too.

But it's not like all Russians support Putin and the war. Some of them are good guys, like Kasatkina and Rublev for examples. And the funniest thing is these two are strongly disliked by the army of Putler's supporters on the forum. I wonder why that is...

It’s not like she was asked to list all of her acquaintances there, but in the very same interview in question she literally mentions that she was introduced to Quincy Promes at the age of 14. I wonder who’s as dumb as a brick now lol

Bottom line is at the time she couldn't name a single player.

And yes she is probably the dumbest player in the entire WTA tour. Because a smart person doesn't expose herself to huge pushback like that and endangers her colleagues but keeps her big lips shut from controversial stuff like that.

Alternatively, how about maybe Potapova shouldn't bring her banned jerseys to matches?

Or maybe Russia shouldn't bring Russia into Russia's neighbours? Just a thought, maybe that's a way to make friends and influence people.
Nothing wrong with a player wearing jerseys of their favourite sports teams to matches. Plenty of players have done that before.

The Russians know that people in the West will always support them, they have already achieve the Russians to participate in Wimbledon, they will soon achieve the same at the Olympics.
And the Russians do not care that without a flag and an anthem, they themselves say that everyone already knows that they are Russians.

Except it's banned by the WTA and that sports team is sanctioned.

If you are competing under no flag, don't wear a sanctioned Russian team that the WTA does not permit, especially when you know you are playing in tournaments with players from a country that your country has invaded.

This stuff ain't hard.
