Sandrine was scheduled to play yesterday, but their opponent (Tc La Meridiana) withdrew. After two wins Tc Parioli now leads the round robin.

Tc Parioli has a week off, next match will be on November 2nd against Tc Cagliari, whose team includes Giulia Casoni, Francesca Lubiani, Laura Dell'Angelo and other talented youngsters such as Margot Torre.

Besides Sandrine, Tc Parioli is represented by Roberta Vinci, Claudia Ivone, Emily Stellato and Lisa Tognetti.

Female Serie A1 includes 10 teams, divided into two groups. Tc Parioli is in the second round robin with Tc Milano Bonacossa, Tc Prato, Tc Cagliari and Tc La Meridiana.

Top 2 from each group will qualify for the semifinals (November 23rd, 30th). The final will be played on December 7th and 14th.

Phew, close one.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the scorelines so long as she continues to play competitively, especially since shes only played a handful of matches and is far from being "match tough". The consistency will come with practice. As we get closer to February I'm sure Sandrine will start blowing her opponents away.

Nice to see Roberta continue to shine.
