Female Serie A1 includes 10 teams, divided into two groups. Tc Parioli is in the second round robin with Tc Milano Bonacossa, Tc Prato, Tc Cagliari and Tc La Meridiana.

Top 2 from each group will qualify for the semifinals (November 23rd, 30th). The final will be played on December 7th and 14th.

Bittersweet news from the Serie A1: Sandrine lost in singles against Casoni but got her revenge in the doubles match. :)

Giulia Casoni b. Sandrine Testud 64 36 64

Claudia Ivone / Sandrine Testud b. Giulia Casoni / Laura Dell´Angelo 62 46 64

Roberta Vinci was busy in the Poitiers challenger. ;)

Overall, TC Parioli lost 2-3 against Tc Cagliari: next match will be on November 9th against Tc Milano Bonacossa and it will be crucial to qualify for the semifinals. Milan's team includes Alberta Brianti, Lea Ghirardi, Alexandra Popa, Laura Golarsa :)D), Chiara Dal Bon, Alice Artesani and Natascia Brescia.

Good luck Sandrine! :yeah:

Hey Jerome, thanks for the scores! :D

Phew, close one.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the scorelines so long as she continues to play competitively, especially since shes only played a handful of matches and is far from being "match tough". The consistency will come with practice. As we get closer to February I'm sure Sandrine will start blowing her opponents away. ;)

Nice to see Roberta continue to shine. :)
