Games

This week we will have two games for players to play, in order to make this tournament becomes more interesting! They are the suicide tennis and tipping! Players can only win big prizes if they play well in BOTH games!

Suicide Tennis

Rules:
Each day of playing, you must pick ONE winner playing a main draw match.
Once you pick someone you cannot choose them again for the rest of the tournament.
So you shouldn't waste a pick on good players like Safina and Jankovic in the early rounds!
You must choose one player each day. If you don't, it will be treated as a wrong pick and you are out

Entry List/Standings:
1. Daszmarelli (Vaidisova)

SCORING:
1st Round = 1 point
2nd Round = 2 points
3rd Round = 3 points
Quarter Final = 4 points
Semi Final = 5 points
Final = 6 points

You are also required to predict how many games there will be in the final with your final pick!

EWTA Asian Stars Arrive

The Japanese, Akiko Morigami, and Taiwanese, Su-Wei Hsieh, arrived today in Paris to participate in the season 2 EWTA Roland Garros. They are excited to continue their clay season, which they do not remember so cleary (too lazy to look up).

Hsieh, will be 15th the seed here for the first time, and is excited to see how well she can do. She comments that her movement has been "very slow and and sloppy" so she will be working on that for the next few days in order to do her best. Su-Wei has been off the courts for a while and is thrilled to be hitting the ball again.

Akiko, has a "new energy" according to her. The Japanese has been struggling to win consecutive matches which has been taking a toll on her ranking. The rest of the season, she just wants to make her way up and play more consistently. She has been practicing with Su-Wei and comments that they have both been so tight and hitting the ball very uncontrollably. She says they both just need to get back into their groove.

We asked them both what they though about the CEO retiring and this is what they had to say:
SH: I am so confused and shocked, and lost for words. He was such a great person, and I never expected all of these thing that have been revealed. Behind the scenes, a lot of crazy stuff was happening and I guess we just move on from here.

AM: That was some crazy shit. HAHA! I totally feel tricked, and kinda betrayed. But I feel sad that he had to go through all of that just to please people. I wish the best for him, and good luck with his future. I wonder how the tour will wind up now?
