Hingis Looking For a Win​

After a disappointing loss to qualifier Kim Clijsters last week, Martina Hingis is trying to get a win on the WPTA Tour. Because of her first round loss, Hingis finds herself having to qualify to get into the Auckland main draw! Her first match is against Daniela Hantuchova from Slovakia.

"I'm very disappointed to see myself in the qualfying draw. It brings back the horrible memory of losing to Clijsters in three sets. I hope to have a good run here. If I don't make it into the main draw, I will be very upset at myself, but I will always keep trying."​
