Re: 's-Hertogenbosch MD List

The Tournament is still played in Rosmalen and has a new name Ricoh Open, so why do they called it s'Hertogenbosch?

It's near 's-Hertogenbosch. Probably for people that remained with 's-Hertogenbosch in mind to not get confused . IDK  .

Miami Open is played in Key Biscane for example. Can't say exactly and for me it doesn't matter. Maybe others know more.

Rosmalen has been part of the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch since 1996.

OK, but can anybody remember a Natasha Zvereva fan? , her name is Lindsey, her poster name on the old Sanex Forums were NZ-Fan, she never been a member here on TF, but as i lost contact with her after Zvereva retired...

She were at Rosmalen tennis tournament in about 1999, and said it at that time were a city outsite 's-Hertogenbosch...

I still wonder what happen to her, last I saw her were on a webcam from French Open, she were on ;)

Rosmalen is indeed outside of 's-Hertogenbosch and has about 35.000 inhabitants. From the site of the RICOH OPEN it is about 10 km to the city centre of 's-Hertogenbosch. Rosmalen was a municipality of its own until 1996. At that time it was added to the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch.

Re: 's-Hertogenbosch MD List

it's 32 player draw right
21 direct
1 SE
2 regular WCs
2 Top 20 WCs
6 qualifiers.

Total : 32

1 Top 20 WC will become a regular WC if they don't use any and the next direct acceptance will get in and also the SE will get cleared and another player from the MD Alt list will get in.

Just kidding  . The Rankings from the 25th of April, obviously, for the entry list. For the Seeding, the rankings from the 23rd of May will be taken into consideration !

It's simple. Her ranking isn't high enough  It's fair to everyone. If she's good enough, she could come through qualies and go deep in tournaments (like the last month) AND get her ranking up until she's able to reach MD. Would it be fair if Chirico's ranking is high enough to make the main draw and I say oh this 17 y/o girl ranked #150 is much more talented and underrated so she should replace Chirico's place in the MD? ;)

Now from Wimbledon, she should be able to reach some of the weaker MM's MD list, until her Washington points drop off if she can't back up her good runs.

She has her place in Wimbledon MD after all ^^
