What can I say? If Venus' first serve isn't working, she isn't gonna beat Serena. And, in fairness, Serena hit some ridiculous shots. I'm always kinda bummed when Venus loses, but the match had a lot of great rallies, some incredible angles, and she mostly made Serena play. It was an entertaining match, though hardly their best play.
Saw a graphic somewhere toward the end of the third set that Serena had converted 5 of 18 break opportunities. Meaning she got 18+ break opportunities. Hard for Venus to survive that.
