Interview:<br />Amanda Coetzer beat Chanda Rubin 6-2/6-2

Q- so Amanda how does it feel to be a winner today.

A-It feels great but i'm exhausted, chanda is a really great player, she is an overachiever, she always works her hardest on the court.

Q-do you know chanda outside of tennis?

A-Yeah, being on the tour for as long as i have, you have to atleast know everyone in the top 200, and espeacially some one as sweet as chanda, I would say we are good friends we talk on the phone every now and then and we get together at tournaments and go fiestejar!!!!

Q- so how does it feel to be 30?

A -not so great, I have recently started going through a i'm too old stage.(luaghing)

Q- Are you going to retire anytime soon?

A-Well for now i'm going to reschedule that.<br />I think i'm improving greatly with Lori as my coach.<br />I love tennis and i have interest for tennis as long as i have interest i will play and not just play but play competively.

Q-Amanda you have often been called one of the sexiest women on the tour ever what is you're opinion about this?

A-Whoever said that must be drinking something special, i have never felt as a sexy woman but as a player.

Q-Well i think you are hot!!!!!!!!!!!!

A-thank you , you are really sweet!

Q-Next you play Tatina how do you feel about that, Tatiana has mentioned you as a role model how do u feel about that?

A-Well Tatiana reminds me of myself when i was young so, i better watch out and get ready to start running.

A-I'm flattered, its a compliment coming from as good of a player as tatiana.
