I hope she gets enough rest now to prepare for Rome.
That her leg may be ok and that it's only some precaution.
Let the draw be in her favour now!!!

I don't think she should fear Mauresmo. She isn't really a clay courter and she's been slipping down the rankings.

I could do without Jankovic there again, but she lost to Lena D, so she's far from invincible.
I'm more worried about Medina Garrigues she's pretty tough on clay?

I don't know about AMG, but if so, then it's a tough draw.

However Van Harpen says he wants to make clay Maria's favourite surface. This is interesting - he obviously believes she can do better on clay than on Hard Courts, but there are so few clay events. Some people reported that Maria looked very tired against Jelena, so if she's learnt her lesson and isn't going to play doubles next week, she might surprise a few.

All in all, I'd be satisfied with another 3rd round result.

Yes but she's only likely to play one week in Paris. QFs will be on the tuesday? So unless she does really well, expect her to have a week off.

Barcelona is another tier IV. I suppose she's done quite well in lesser events, but there aren't that many points available. She's choosing the lesser tournaments available it seems. She needs some practice on grass and if she doesn't win a couple of matches at Wimbledon I'd be disappointed. 3 wins against average players could get her about 150 points.

Anyway that ends my plan to go and see her in Birmingham next month. 2009 maybe?

She choosed Rosmalen instead of Eastbourne?
Why don't Ana and Maria just choose the same tournaments.

I still find it crazy what she's done the last weeks. Doubles and singles till the end in Estoril. Final in Warsaw and then the next day in Berlin already.
She's just getting better again, so please skip some doubles. Top 20 is close again so let that be the most important thing.
I hope she get a 3rd round in Rome. It doesn't look like she will beat Jelena. The Petrova match gives me confidence tough.
Some awesome points and she kept the erros low.
I rather see her play the bigger tournaments and instead of another Tier IV. She should win Barcelona then, but better be not to tired for Wimbledon.
Damn, she's coming to my country and I go to Eastbourne. :fiery:
