So FFT is gonna compensate 's-Hertogenbosch and Nottingham? Sorry if already asked in the other thread.
Sounds like a waste of money.

US Open starting to seem less (stereotype-version-of-)capitalistic than French hehe

So that fucks up the start of the grass court season then.
I assume Hertogenbosch & Nottingham will only now get players who lose in the first two rounds at Roland Garros, very difficult to promote those events.
MD players in those grass tournaments can play and lose in R3 at FO and make it in time.

Don't understand the logic behind this cause one week delay hardly seems necessary to help in any conditions.

Easy for you, perhaps very difficult for them.
The French screw up everything again.
Yeah it must be a logistical nightmare. But given the amount of clay tournaments the WTA has after Wimbledon they could use them that week !! That WTA will prob make a mess of it.

How is that one week going to make a difference?

It's just a move to annoy everybody and makes zero sense.

Silly decision - a week isn’t going to make a difference.

The only opportunity now is for some of the smaller clay tournaments to spread themselves out a bit more so that the week before the new FO date can be filled.

Glad to hear this will hopefully not disrupt the grass tournaments and they can be played during the 2nd week of the FO. They should still get good draws - the WTA 250 in Melbourne did ok.
