Well the draw could I have been better, like getting in Mauresmo's quarter or especially Hantuchova and Dokics , but again I think Amanda has very good chances to reach the quarters. Asagoe could be a bit tough, but she is not as good outdoors as she is on carpet where she beat Amanda, and then Bovina is playing crap lately. So I think Amanda will make the quarters of this tourney

Amanda will play Obata tomorrow instead of Asagoe. They have never played before, but Saori's biggest wins to date are probably over Stevenson (twice!), Dokic, Daniilidou, Ruano Pascual, and Srebotnik. She has also played many top players relatively closely, but usually ended up in tight straight set losses. I hope Amanda can win this match!!!!! GO MANDY!!!!!

I try to explain: Most of the photographers are bussiness-persons first. If they don't see a chance for earning money in selling the pics, they do not spend time in waiting for good shoots. Mandy is not in the (main)interest of the tennisworld, so no one is waiting for photos; btw., she is also not looking for cameras ...
During the last three years I have only found ~100 pics/yearly, from other top-players You can get ~100 monthly. So during her total time ontour (starting in 1988) I have only found ~1500 (really good) photos, and only 20% of them are off-court-made. Our best AC-board-heros (adnil & rob) are knowing about it.
Here is my youngest found of seven this month. In July I got 10 pics in total; in June it was 30 ...

Thanks for the explaination...you're right of course...please do post the best you find occasionally in the Amanda Photo Album thread...then others can appreciate them too!

The map with the 1500+ is lost forever; but I have saved a DVD with ~850 photos from there with the most important pics and writings and in maybe around 4 month a second one dvd will be ready for everyone, who is interested in. So I send only copies of my master-dvd to everyone, who is looking for, and monthly updates of all new-entries via @mail.

The other two players are the USA-players Meghann Shaugnessy and Chanda Renée Rubin. The photo was taken at the Wimbledon 2003-players-night.
I have no time to send more than 1000 photos to the board.
