Pironkova playing absolutely amazing in the first and started the second quite well but Schiavone upped her level in the second and Pironkova seemed to be having a problem with her leg as it was heavily wrapped and she kept grabbing onto it and a lot of her shots started landing in the net. Its too bad for Tzveti she had a great chance to win this, some amazing amazing tennis in the first set and a half. Congrats to Fran she is always a fighter and deserves her success on this surface.

Queen of BUL blew BAA-WEE clean off the court in the 1st set. Shades of her match vs. Zvonareva at Moscow 09. Banging winners from everywhere, flattening out her FH on almost every shot. But the remainder of the match is evidence that she's just not physically able to keep that up for more than an hour or so. It's just too taxing.

BAA-WEE on course for another BS RG run.
