Only saw the second set, but wow Misaki was hitting a lot more errors than usual. Not good with her style of play, but she was doing well not to give up when she was being totally overpowered and outrun for the entire match. Sloane was lucky she didn't take that momentum all the way to a third set.
Then again Doi was lucky that Sloane was doing NOTHING with her soft second serves and playing totally passively. It's like someone has to hold a gun to her head to get her to play aggressively. And when she does she starts to win the points. Sigh.
At least she kept up her impressive tiebreak record for this season.
Sorribes Tormo frustrated the life out of her in their last match, so hopefully Sloane will be prepared to knuckle down and gut this one out again.
