Just wondering how much a restringing would cost? It is being done by a top level restringer who also works at the Australian Open. Strings being put in cost $19 on the net. Im having 2 rackets restrung.

Got my rackets back, cost was $26 AUD for each racket and $2 Aud each for a new grip and dampner. This is with the RPM blast put in both and pick up the day after.

In the U.S., it will cost about $15-20 per racket if you go to a private guy, $20-30 if you go to a tennis club or store.

Having strung many rackets on my own machine, I can tell you that those poly strings are very very stiff. The last 4 or 5 crosses are a really pain to do. If you go to a cheap guy, he may try to rush the job possibly causing one or more kinks in the string.

I pay CAD $35 for premium poly strings (Luxilon Alu Power rough).
Just the stringing work is CAD $15. The rest is for strings.

I pay around $40 USD at a local tennis store. That's for a hybrid... ALU rough in the mains and xcel in the crosses.
