Anything you can do, I can do better!

On clay that is ... to the delight of her fans, especially the president of her fan club who goes by the codename "The Boiled Egg" Natasha Zvereva came from behind to upset top seeded Martina Navratilova in 3 sets. Zvereva is now 4-0 with Navratilova on clay.
No Moonballs please!

Mary Pierce clobbered Conchita Martinez 6-1 in the first set of their round of 16 match, but she let a HUGE 5-1 second set lead slip into a tiebreaker. Did Pierce finish Martinez off? or did her nerves get the best of her?
What do you do when your game is a little off, and your opponent seems to be cracking nearly everything for a winner? This is what Aranxta Sanchez-Vicario had to face when she took on Dominique Van Roost today. Now we see Arantxa is down ... but is she out?
Sayanora!

Kimiko Date of Japan, scored a huge upset over Martina Hinigis. The match was very closely contested as Hingis made comeback bids in both the 2nd and 3rd sts ... nicely done Kimiko.
Excessive Topspin

Chris Evert found herself facing a very stubborn Gabriela Sabatini. Sabatini seemed content to just spin the ball at all kinds of angles, running Chris around. Evert was able to take the upperhand in the second set tie breaker with superb placements... but the question is, who wanted it more in the third and deciding set?
Upsets

Lindsay Davenport knew going into her match with Anna Kournikova, that Kournikova had upset Maleeva-Fragniere and Serena Williams to get here. Davenport fought off matchpoints in her last match with Testud, so when Davenport was up a set and matchpoint on Kournikova, only to lose the second set anyway ... did Anna add Lindsay's head to her collection?
