I have always wondered this: whenever the schedule for a day of match play in a tournament is posted, why is that post followed by about 385,847,362 "Good Luck" threads?

Cheesiest things that I have ever seen:

1.TV show "Saved By The Bell"
2. Neighborhood Christmas Carollers
3. Posting "Good Luck" threads after the schedule is printed.
