Haas-Rios - I'd love to see this match. Rios's game is better for the surface, but does he have the legs to last more than three hours against young German? I doubt it. Haas in 4.

Safin-Ferreira, before Round of 16 matches even started I predicted that this QF will take place and for Marat, this will be even more dangerous match than against Pete. I am still convinced that's what it is going to be. Safin in 5.

Novak-Koubek, Novak in 3 or 4.

Bjorkman-Johansson, I'd like to see Bjorkman win it, but that will be Johansson in straight sets.

I'd take Rios to win if both play to ability

Rios also leads 4-2 in meets

Safin should come thru in 3 or 4

Novak to take care of Koubek

and Johansson in 4

QF
Rios in 3 or 4. Ex-number 1 is very consistent at the moment.
Safin in 4. One dropped set just because of the loss of concentration.
Novak and Koubek are both "dark horses". I pick Novak.
Johansson - he knows how to play in AO final.

Don't underestimate Ferreira. Look at his statistics against big servers - Rusedski, Philippoussis, Krajicek, Sampras. He loves to play big servers. With his long arms he gets back much more balls than the best returners in the world and that drives big servers crazy.

All those guys are more of a net players than Marat is.

BH to BH Marat will kill Wayne, only Ferreira's FH is upto Marats strength.

Yes, Eggy, that's why I think Marat is going to win. But he will have to deal with the fact that his serve won't be earning him as much free points as against anyone else. Another possible factor, if they put the match at daytime ( and I think they will ), heat will play into Wayne's hands.
