How many MDWCs are they allowed to give? Last year I see they gave away three.

Ivanov I don't think is here as her WC was originally reported to be for qualifying.
I believe its 2 top 20 WCs and 2 discretionary WCs.

What's most weird is that Radwanska, BMS and Ivanov are all at Auckland. But Bouchard and Hourigan also are...

Unless the tournament directors have made last minute deals with Canadian/Italian Federations to get Fernandez and Errani the QWCs and swapped out BMS and Ivanov for them.

Read what i wrote Talaja said “many more alts players are there in hope they get In, but some just sits there and do not get In Qualies and can hope for doubles or just go home...”

If you not know Talaja, she played when Tina Pisnik played and has some years been a coach in Denmark, i saw her and Tina some times in Germany, after i got to know Pisniks family...

So Ivanov's QWC got upgraded to a MDWC. While BMS withdrew due to injury.

Elsewhere, looks like Ula is nowhere to be seen :LOL:
