I wonder who'll get the MDWCs here? You would have thought Xu and Ma would have been fairly likely, unless they are banking on them both qualifying (or at least getting to the FQR, and then the LL path would be available) and then just having a few extra numbers in the main draw? Yuan will probably get something with still being active in the Chinese W60, but there's not many obvious names to go round both Chinese WTA events as a lot have either withdrawn, are in main draw already, or in the Q draws. I suppose that Guo has also made the semi final.

yes I was totally surprised Shilin was not a MD WC ... but perhaps she wanted to go through QD :scratch:

They have lost Bouchard, a former top 5 and slam finalist, so they have probably smartly replaced her with another player of the same level, former top 5 and slam finalist, Sara Errani!

After all, what's the difference? :smoke:
