Despite the bye quite a strong qualifying draw for an international. :eek: Shame they didn't have another Swiss junior on-site. No doubles specialist in there as well. :shrug:
Interesting to see how Vondrousova fares in a WTA draw now! She is still in contention to get into Paris Qs. Hopefully Antonia and Tamara can pass even R1. :unsure:

the only Silva I could remember was Camila from Chile who retired some time ago IIRC so I was surprised

Great to see Eden turn up here. Wish Pride of Bristol had made the trip :(
Pride and Raina got accepted into the MD doubles list only yesterday. Probably did not expect to get a Q spot and made travel arrangements for the weekend.

Oh wow, that's a surprise especially as Raina is still down for Istanbul. If Ankita was trying for doubles would have expected her to turn up in qualies.
