Giant Qeen (born October 8, 2002) had a very promising 2015, and yesterday she won one of the biggest U14 tournaments - TIM Essonne -, so here we go :cheer:

Qeenwen was the 2nd seed at TIM Essonne, she had a bye in R1, and she double-bagelled (LL)Melody Hefti in R2, beat Namie François 3-6 6-0 6-3 in R3, (Q)Lou Anne Guerbert 2 & 1 in QF, (3)Darja Semenistaja 7-6(2) 6-2 in SF, and Diane Parry (who upset top seed and Les Petits As finalist Denisa Hindova in R2) 0 & 2 in the final :rocker2: :yeah:

This was her 2nd final this year, as she made the final of her first tournament of the year, G14 Nike Junior International Bolton, where she was seeded 3, beat top seed Himari Sato 6-4 7-6(5) in SF, before losing a dramatic final against fellow US girl Alexa Noel, seeded 5 - 0-6 2-6 5-7 :awww:

Between these 2 tournaments she played the unofficial U14 Slam, Les Petits As, where she was the 8th seed, beat Federica Sacco 2 & 2 in R1 and (Q)Oksana Selekhmeteva 2 & 1 in R2, but was upset by (12)Vanessa Ong, 6-4 4-6 4-6 in R3. :(

Last year, she won 4 titles: G14 Vilamoura International U14 (beating Anna Arkaduianou 1 & 3 in the final), G14 Portimao International Tournamente U14 (6-1 4-2 ret. against Polina Shitikova in the final) and G14 Kystmesterskaberne (beating Clara Tauson 3 & 2 in the final) successively - she went 18-0 at some point last year :worship: -, and G14 Audi GW: plus Zentrum Munchen Junior Open (beating Andjela Skrobonja 6-4 4-6 7-5 in the final). :yeah:
At U14 Eddie Herr, she was the 4th seed, beat Petra Miszczak 1 & 1 in R1, but lost 4 & 4 to Margaryta Bilokin (who was a set away from snatching the title) in R2; and at the U14 Orange Bowl, she beat (LL)Sara De Oliveira 1 & 2 in R1, Viktoriya Tabunshcyk 7-6(9) 6-4 in R2, and (9)Adrienn Nagy 6-4 2-6 6-0 in R3, before losing badly to 5th seed Marta Kostyuk (who went on to make the Eddie Herr-Orange Bowl-L'es Petits As triple) in R4, 1 & 1.
Hopefully she can make more damage in these big US tournies this year! :cheer:

Keep going Qeenwen  :armed: :cheer:

Edit: Wasn't she playing for the USA last year or am I crazy?  I initially created this thread in the US sub, before realising she was playing for China :spit:

Qinwen is from Wuhan and trains in Beijing, signed with IMG/Nike/Wilson and works with Carlos Rodriguez a bit, but is coached by a Frenchman from his academy. Coretennis often mistakenly registers players as American if they don't have much info and it's the first country the player has a result in.

Sometimes they're very random, like they had listed Charaeva as from Uzbekistan and Domnina as from Zimbabwe for a while :spit: :hysteric:

Thank you for making a thread for Quintessa Ana, I have been a fan for a long time :inlove:

I am not surprised Carol lost, Quintessa is too dominant :inlove:

Congrats to Queenwen on winning Cat. 1 G16 Pont Des Générations in Avignon today! :D

She cruised all week long: seeded 6, she had a bye in R1, beat WC Juline Fayard 2 & 1 in R2, 9th seed Vera Tagasheva 3 & 2 in R3, 2nd seed Tamara Malesevic 1 & 1 in QF, 3rd seed Daniella Medvedeva 4 & 3 in SF, and top seed Helene Pellicano 2 & 1 in the final :bigclap:

She bitchslapped the top 3 seeds like a boss

That's her 3rd singles title this year :yeah:
