Great to see Yafan back on track after her long absence due to illness. Back up to 125 in the rankings and she has a real shot to crack the top 100 with the way she's playing this week.

NID that any player who can keep the ball in play for 5 shots would take out Bouchard. But Wang was doing her best Petra impression today and made it look easy. The serve and FH were fire.

IMO she has the most potential out of any of the Chinese players currently in their prime years. She makes it look like a simple game at times.

Yafan 3-0 in WTA QFs now! She would've been top 100 last year if she hadn't been sidelined for 5 months with a viral illness.

Unsurprising result. It was pretty funny to see people thinking a win over Bogdan meant that Bouchard was playing at a top 10 level. Her ranking is just reflective of her ability.

I agree, she has some of the most fluid technique on the whole tour. Can go as high as she wants really, a very complete player.
