PYW ITF Gifu & Charlottesville
Welcome to Gifu in Japan and Charlottesville in the state of Virginia, USA! With the two WTA events of Warsaw and Estoril, and the $50K events of Charlottesville and Gifu, there are plenty of players active on the ITF Tour this week. In Gifu Yung-Jan Chan is by far the highest-ranked player participating here. It would be a shock if she even were troubled by one of the other players. But this does not mean that others will not be fighting hard. Who will be able to trouble Chan?
Charlottesville's field includes 2 ITF titles winner this year Rosana De Los Rios in her interesting first round match against Sea Island Champion Bethanie Mattek. Shaughnessy, Tetreault and Lee-Waters hope to challenge for the title. But as always only your votes can determine the one who will lift the trophy. Vote now as the tournament kicks off!!
