Although this event is on clay, the players that are wanting to get some play on clay before Wimbledon are all here. One of these players is top thirty player Julia Görges, who will be partnering with with American, Jill Craybas in the doubles draw this week. Both players have not had the best of years but are looking for some success in doubles. The top seeds are Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Petra Martic, both players have been partnering each other throughout the year, but are looking for some real success here in Austria.
