I like to believe Roger inspired her (Halep said she plans to prepare for the Kerber match by watching Federer -- who hits 50-70 winners in all his matches).
I can understand Wozniacki, maybe. She is more aggressive these days, but she used to be ridiculously passive in the past. I remember last year's Australian Open where Konta absolutely blew her off the court. Was embarrassing to watch.
Never understood people who call Halep a "pusher". She doesn't have huge weapons, partly due to her size, but she plays with steady controlled aggression. A bit like a Djokovic.

What a troll! Kerber transformed into a pusher, but the biggest pusher is Wozniacki. Halep is an aggressor, sometimes an offensive counterpuncher. She could be aggressive all the time though in order to become like Kim C. or maybe she's more aggressive than the Belgian sometimes but Kim knew to be smart, when to pull the trigger and to play long all the time.

What's the definition of a pusher? In today's SFs,
Halep: 50 winners in 35 games, 1.43 winners per game, 43% of the points she won + 28% from forced errors = 71% of her points decided on her own initiative
Wozniacki: 25 winners in 22 games, 1.14 winners per game, 32% of the points she won + 25% from forced errors = 57% of her points decided on her own initiative
