This is just a feeling I have. Many of you won't like to hear the harsh truth, but Viacom (which owns CBS) is a business and they have been doing pretty well this year. They realize that without an American woman in the women's final, there may be little interest (since the last time that happened was in the mid-1990's) in the US (they alsoo know what the ratings were for the 2003 FO final). They also know that Agassi is very popular and the up-and-coming Roddick is gaining in popularity and they (Viacome/CBS) would benefit finacially if they showed one of these semifinal matchs in prime time (like they used to). They will know as late as Thrusday, I think, who the men's semifinalists will be and it won't be too late to make a change.
