Great win Nicole, I was confident she would push Eleni and had a good chance to take her out. Martinez will be very tough for Nicole! I think Nicole has lost every meeting they have had.

Main reason is that Martinez will use a lot of loopy, high bouncing topspin groundies that will frustrate Nicole. Nicole being the small midget she is will have to hit a lot of balls her shots from around shoulder height which is tough!

eleni hasn't been getting the best results lately so i thought nicole had a chance in this match. nicole is in a great part of the draw. she plays martinez 3rd round and then in the quarters either grande or schiavone, probably schiavone the way she has been playing but this gives nicole a chance to maybe reach the semis. how kewl would that be the semis of a tier 2. but still 2 matches to go.
