That looks good for Venus, Serena, and Myskina.
If Myskina plays half way decent, she can be #1 by the end of the Open!

I'm surprised about Nastya. I thought she had more than that. This puts her and Momo more or less neck and neck for secured points.

well both dont play till the end of the circuit, so whoever does better at the open will likely finish #1

Momo is in the driver's seat for the #1 ranking through the US Open. All she has to do is outgain everyone below her. Easier said than done, but she can control her own destiny if she's up to the challenge.

*Doesn't include 18th tournament and beyond.

This is Patty's big chance to return to the top ten. it's the first time in ages she is playing the entire hardcourt season season. chanda can also move right back up because she has nothing to defend

K-Lina has 2003 Helsinki points to come off (like 52 or 54 something like that).
I just looked, it's 51.00 points to defend at Helsinki.
Then nothing til a challenger from 2003 in late October. :bounce:

Its crazy that Mauresmo will be #1 most likely
if Myskina gets there it'll make sense as she did win RG

Yeah...Nastya, wow! And seriously, I think she will do really well Stanford & San Diego. Most her points from here on out came from her big win in Moscow. And the Williams Sisters, pretty likely they'll move back into the top ten. Top five after U.S. Open.

According to Notes and Netcords, Myskina is not playing Stanford. Her next tournies are San Diego and Sopot.
