It's getting laughable but this is my last (and I really mean LAST) attempt to arrange players according to their achievements.
This time I award no points for career high rank : it will only serve as a tie-breaker if two or more players are tied in total points.
And since it's all about Slams a Grand Slam title is worth as many points as GS final, YEC and Gold medal combined. I think it's fair enough.
Only active top-tenners have made it to the list.

TOTAL POINTS = TOURNAMENT POINTS + QUALITY POINTS

TOURNAMENT POINTS :
Grand Slam QF / Bronze Medal / Tier III / Tier IV / International = 1.00
Grand Slam SF / Tier II / GS Cup / Premier = 2.00
Silver Medal / Tier I [draw of 28] = 3.00
Tier I [draw of 56] / Premier 5 = 4.00
Tier I [draw of 96] / Premier Mandatory = 5.00
Grand Slam RU / Tour Championships / Gold Medal = 10.00
Grand Slam = 30.00

QUALITY POINTS :
Top-10 win at Grand Slam = 0.75
Top-10 win at other events (incl. Fed Cup) = 0.25

Standings after Roland Garros 2010

It's getting laughable but this is my last (and I really mean LAST) attempt to arrange players according to their achievements.
Nice :worship:

Bob Larson has done those, with every imaginable way for ages. Dunno what new ones he have has since I stopped subscibing to that...

My take. ALL surfaces are equal. Go from there :wavey:

It's not that surprising actually. Justine wasn't on tour as long as either Williams sister. I think GS Top 10 wins per GS is a more indicative stat:

Serena - 32/37 = 0.864
Henin - 25/31 = 0.806
Venus - 33/44 = 0.75
Hingis - 22/37 = 0.595

So we see that Henin is below Serena and above Venus, which is where we expect her to be.
