Father was born in Kenya, grew up in Tanzania and Canada.
Mother is from Chile but grew up in Austria.

Paszek is a Polish name but her nationality is Austrian.

Well I guess Martina is right but I don't know if that's PC.

First time I have seen her play before and I am very impressed. I am definitely on the Paszek bandwagon now. Besides I needed to find some young players to start rooting for.

I was gonna make a thread, because that comeback from 0-5 was absolutely awesome. I'd seen her play in Linz before and I knew she had potential, but she's improved even since then. Excellent, heavy ground game, very feisty, pretty quick, not a bad serve. She's certainly fun to watch and has got the potential to be very good. She needs to get fitter though.
