Lindsay, Venus or Serena

My list would look like:

Serena
Venus
Lindsay (just doesn't like the clay, never won a title on clay for the pat 3 years I think)

I don't think winning Roland Garros is impossible for any of them, they need to play more lead up events though, that's their biggest problem. Of course, to do that you need to be healthy, which for the most part, Lindsay, Venus, and Serena have not been during the clay season more recently.

My bet on best chance to win it first would be Venus, Serena, and the Lindsay personally.

My order is Venus, Serena and then Lindsay.

I put Venus first because she seems to be making more of an effort than the other two. (Of course, it's hard to tell when the other two were more or less injured around clay time.)

I saw Venus, Lindsay then Serena. Venus and Lindsay have won clay court titles before but Serena hasn't.

Venus, then a toss-up between Serena and Lindsay.

Venus has one major factor the other two lack. She has the speed to track balls Lindsay can't get to, and the patience her sister lacks to hang in rallies if necessary. In other words, unlike the other big babes on tour, she could play defensive tennis if she had to, until she could get her game in gear. She could win, at least a few rounds, without her big babe game working. The others live and die with it.

Lindsay has been to the semis at RG. If she could get there again, without having to run a gauntlet of tough clay courters, she has a shot.

Serena is undone on clay by her own impatience. That's why she hasn't reached a clay semi yet, even though she has the speed to be a good clay courter. If she'd take a page from big sis, and counterpunch when necessary instead of trying to create winners that aren't there, she'd have a better chance than Lindsay. Until she does, I'd give an edge to Lindsay's past experience and success on clay.

Come ON!!!!! Be realistic
Lindsay already has 4 titles on clay. Plus a semi appearance on Roland Garros.

Do the williams have that???

Venus has probably the best chance.

IMHO Lindsay has a much better chance than Serena at the moment although netiher of them have had much clay court play in the last couple of years, so it's quite difficult to comment.

Interesting feat of logic.... A semi final appearance is no guarantee that a player will do better the next time around ... Case in point Alexandra Stevens , Jelena Dokic, Mirijan Lucic at Wimbledon in 1999. Need I go on????
Topic related, I say Venus then Lindsay and Rena

I'm just saying that Lindsay has in fact a better records than Williams on clay surface.

What is then your guarantee that Venus has a better chance of winning RG than Lindsay.

Would it be safe to look from their past records instead????

QUEENLINDSAY: How long has Lindsay been on the tour. When I first saw her it was when she was the fattest tennis player I ever seen. Give Venus time, than tell me whos gonna have better record on clay.

Yes, Williams_Rulz, Venus won the 1999 Betty Barclay Cup beating Mary Pierce 6/0 6/3 and won a tier I tourney at the Italian Open beating Mary again 6/3 6/4.

Yeah, give Venus more time.

I'd rather based my analysis on past achievements rather than future which is not yet happening.

Unfortunately, based on clay credentials, Venus is on par, if not ahead of Lindsay.
