If Krajicek thought he could draft some energy from Verkerk, and regain some of his lost limelight, he was sadly mistaken today, losing 6/1, 6/2.

Humm, maybe retiring wouldn't be such a bad idea :O

Up next: Malisse bends over for another spanking from Agassi

Hopefully Agassi wins Queens and snatches the number one ranking again as soon as possible. Then Ferrero can pass Hewitt for number 2, and the world will be okay.... although it would be much better if Ferrero became a grass sensation over night and did so well at Wimbledon that he passed both of them. But I have to be realistic here

Xavier went out 6/4, 7/5. Although it was his closest contest, he's still never one as much as a set against Agassi in 4 meetings.

i like that stat :) keep it up Baldy!!!

the good news is that it doesn't matter if RodPrick spanks him bec he remains #1 anyway. and i won't be surprised if Andre tanks this match because he has nothing to gain from winning it. he's obviously match-ready for playing on grass and that's all he needs to be.

i wonder however if the Potato regrets spending that extra week in Paris oly to watch his girlfriend lose? he coulda been practicing on grass instead.

If he did tank he did an ingenius job of disguising it: 6/1 (reserves his energy), 6/7 (takes second set to look like he wasn't trying to tank), 7/6 (hell, since he won the 2nd set, might as win the match! Ooops! Doh!)

Potato regrets not spending that extra week not playing in the tournament...

no Andre didn't tank. he was facing a younger version of his old nemesis. in the post-match interview he seemed completely disgusted with himself. he said "i got what i deserved". ouch!

but yes he does look ready for Wimbledon. :) :D
