If the officials didn't have their butts so far up Clijsters, Agassi and Roddick's @ss, then they wouldn't be in as big a whole as they are now.

Anyone listen to the stream video of the weather forecast from the usopen.org website? When asked about why they chose to put the Clijsters match on Arthur Ashe first, instead of finishing up the Myskina vs. Pierce and Sugiyama vs. Schiavone, since Clijsters' match is already into the quarterfinals.....the director gave no real valid answer, except that they had kept the other players late the previous night and so therefore it wouldn't be right to schedule them early the next day

Such crap! They could care less about Myskina, Sugiyama, Pierce or Schiavone. To them priority is getting their money for the show courts and obeying the top players' wishes....which is definetly going to cost the tournament heaps of money

This has been discussed in other thread,s and there is actually a rule that f players are kept late at night, they can't be played first match next day! That happens at the AO too if there is an incompleted match for some reason...that match is never first on court! It happened in one of Coetzer's matchs a couple of years ago. It was raining and already 9:30pm, so we waited until 10:30pm, and then security said they won't play anymore today. Coetzer's match was on the same court next day as the second match on!
