In the virtual universe, it's hard to make amends for poor behaviour. How can you? 'I'm sorry' certainly doesn't undo the pain and damage caused. And the sincerity of a lot of 'e-apologies' is rather suspect. What CAN anyone do?

In many ways, on the web, you are literally what you say. And like in the real world, once you say something, it can't be un-said.

I do occassionally write things I genuinely regret (May 1991, no it was June) What exactly can you do over the web that might really have meaning?
