I am so sad! We lost one of the all time greats in country music today! Waylon Jennings died at the age of 64! He and Willie Nelson are the reasons I got interested in country music to begin with! I will miss him! I know that there are alot of people that really don't care about that sort of music, but I grew up in South Carolina and Alabama and country music is kind of the backround music to life there! It's what you grow up with and I care!

OMG i am so sad to hear this. He was the one who sang the theme song for the Dukes of Hazard. I was not really a fan but i liked that song and the show.

Yup, bhs, that was WJ on "Dukes".

Anyone remember Waylon's wife, Jessi Colter? She had a hit in the 70's called "I'm Not Lisa".

Do You Remember Kenny Rogers, "Sweet Music Man"? After a conversation with Jessie Colter, Kenny Rogers wrote that song about Waylon!
