It was big hitting from both and quite erratic, especially from Na. The grass is playing really fast for some reason and it didn't seem to take much from either to make a winner out of a shot. There was very little net game, even in terms of smashes and put-aways, and in the end it was some clutch serving from Dani that was the difference - she was broken in her opening service game, and once in the second set and that was it.

So happy .Though gutted I missed this. There were no livestreams available and you have to be in the UK to use the ones that provide the BBC...

I´m really excited though and well,there´s Cornet next. She gave us a great favour saving us from Paszek but I´m not gonna get ahead of myself this time around

Yeah,from the livescore it looked like she was serving quite well. In fact she didn´t even face a BP in the final set and I was like , and also notably surprised when she served out at love

Fine result! Hopefully this year's Wimbledon was just an aberration.

Really hope she gets to play Wozniacki on grass.

Yeah the grass was super fast, so it was an enjoyable match as there were loads of winners.
Dani was consistent and kept the pressure on Li especially in the third. Lots to be pleased about for Dani fans.Mentally well composed too I felt.
The difference between when I saw her in Birmingham and today was huge.

Yes, I saw the match. Daniela was a bit... "Hmm... I'll try my best and will see" at the begining of 1st set. Then, she realized that she can push Na on a hard way, specially on grass and she did it. She took the advantage of Na's ups and downs.

On 2nd set, Daniela started too slow. But she was always in touch with the score. I felt she gave in away the 2nd set because of making Na more impatient on 3rd.
The 3rd set was a real pleasure, with both showing why they are in the elite of Tennis. But it was Daniela who showed her grass game skills with some teriffic backhands (after all, she still know how to use it - she must work more with it on matches).
It was a great match, specially considering she's playing Cornet next and Caroline on 3rd. Open chance, really but needs to take a match at time.

I was really surprise with the result...this is her best win after Pattaya..she needs to be tougher against Cornet..you can do this Dani..
