Didn't Britain have Linford Christie and his friend with the big nose who presents now... Sally something.
That'll be Sally Gunnell.

If only we had someone on the board from Equatorial Guinea and they could say about Eric the swimmer ;)

Plans must be made for Eric to compete again in Athens next year! ;)

Yeah Sally won Olympic gold, she basically held every achievement in 400m hurdles but lol yeah stick to running! But then again that's what happens with people that cover British Sport on tv, have any sort of success in your sport and you get a tv job.

I remember her race where she broke the world record cos I wanted the American to win and I was pissed off cos the US girl broke the old world record too but Sally had to go that little bit faster. I never can remember her name though.

Did Colin Jackson ever win Olympics?

He died shortly before his 100 birthday. He won 6 olympic medals in gymnastics: 2 golds in Paris 1924, 1 gold, 2 bronze in Amsterdam 1928 and one silver in Berlin 1936.

SINGAPORE has got only 1 olympic medal ever...and that was a silver in weightlifting in 1960. so obviously, Mr Tan Howe Liang, our Olympic medallist, is our olympic hero.
but seriously, not a lot of people know him...
