<font color=gold>Kafelnikov stands in the way of the Frenchman and a place in the eight-man field for Sydney. Both Haas and Grosjean will make the trip Down Under. If Grosjean wins the final he will be guaranteed a place as the final qualifier with Haas the alternate. If Kafelnikov, who has beaten Grosjean in their three previous meetings, wins the best of five sets final, Grosjean would go as the alternate with Haas taking the final place in Sydney.
