Well done Seb for making semis and that means he overtakes Henman

Now if Haas wins his QF its a straight battle
they clash for a place for Sydney .

Not necessarily, Eggy. If Grosjean beats Haas, he still has to beat Kafelnikov/Vinci to qualify. Meaning he'd have an extra motivation. That's why I'd prefer it to be Haas, it would be easier for Yevgeny.

Positions now
1 Kuerten, Gustavo BRA 771
2 Hewitt, Lleyton AUS 723
3 Agassi, Andre USA 684
4 Ferrero, Juan Carlos ESP 568
5 Rafter, Patrick AUS 557
6 Kafelnikov, Yevgeny RUS 533*
7 Haas, Tommy GER 437*
8 Grosjean, Sebastien FRA 423
9 Henman, Tim GBR 420
10 Sampras, Pete USA 388
11 Safin, Marat RUS 384

Haas wins QF he will have 457
Grosejan makes final 448 , so he will have to win Paris

Yevgeny has a good record against both

I hope Haas will be the one to qualify.. He deserves it for the past few weeks of great results and hopefully he can defeat Johansson. That will be giving Yevgeny a big help.

But seriously, this is the best time and draw left for Yevgeny to make his TMS breakthrough. Keeping my fingers crossed....

Go Zhenya!

I know its harsh but as a fan of Goran , i'm glad he's gonna be there.

I hope Tommy Haas makes it , all he has to do it bt Grosjean

I agree Dahveed, but Sebastien hasn't done particularly well after those. But I still would like him to go to Sydney!

Haas won Adelaide , Long Island , Vienna as well as Stuttgart Masters

Plus SF in Montreal Masters
His slams were a little disappointing to say the least

Grosjean apart from SF in AUS OPEN , ROLAND GARROS

he got to SF Monte Carlo Masters , plus Runner Up in Marseille , so not much either

Kafelnikov stands in the way of the Frenchman and a place in the eight-man field for Sydney. Both Haas and Grosjean will make the trip Down Under. If Grosjean wins the final he will be guaranteed a place as the final qualifier with Haas the alternate. If Kafelnikov, who has beaten Grosjean in their three previous meetings, wins the best of five sets final, Grosjean would go as the alternate with Haas taking the final place in Sydney.

JAZ DO IT SEBASTIEN!!!!!!!!
