Wasn't there an outrage because the Bell Challenge website was only in one language in a bilingual country? I wonder how many people are going to complain now that this one is also only in one language. :scratch:

rated_next, thanks so much for the link. :kiss: I will phone tomorrow to reserve a $100 pass not only to watch matches all day/night on the weekends and night matches from Mon to Friday only :fiery: but also show my 100% support for the WTA event here in Vancouver. I want this tournament to be a huge success and want it to be upgraded in the near future. I am willing to pay the cost no matter what. Vancouver deserves to have a WTA event. The cost is not a big deal to me. It's a dream came true that WTA event arrives here for the first time in history. I want to be part of it. I really believe that we will build a new bigger stadium and create outside courts to make a comlete tennis site in a new location somewhere in Vancouver. :worship:

I bought my ticket today. I talked to Cory, and she is so nice. She told me that a lot of people were buying tickets.

I phoned Corina and she sounded so nice too. I agree. I bought my 7 day pass as well but didn't get it yet. I will pick it up when it is ready. :bounce:

We are now selling advance tickets for the Odlum Brown Vancouver Women's Open for Friday August 13, Saturday August 14, and Sunday August 15.
There are some opportunities available that you and/or your company may wish to enjoy. There are preferred seats in partitioned groups of four with club access which is only available to players, WTA officials, sponsors, VIP's and club members. The cost of these boxes are $1000.00 each for a 7-day pass.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please call Corinne Angell at (604) 221-2830 or you can e-mail her at [email protected]. Tickets can be purchased with Visa or MasterCard over the phone, via e-mail or you can print off an order form (downloadable later) and fax it in.
Passes will be available for pick up at the Jericho Tennis Club reception prior to August 7th between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. From August 7th through August 15th tickets will be available for pick up at the ticket stand at the main entrance to the Club from one hour prior to the first match of the day. Picture identification will be required.
