one of my favourite trophies is the golden falcon. as you can see from Petra photos the one Iga gets to keep is super nice. Petra must think highly of it for it to be displayed beneath her Wimby ones
For all Polish posters - that was a great, dramatic, win for your athlete in the women's marathon today at the European Championships. The long, straight, finishing stretch made for great drama.
[Followed by an even more dramatic win in the mens' marathon! I love watching marathons from start to finish. They all start off bright and fresh, then gradually one-by-one they fall away and rarely come back. Finally a select few remain to battle for the prize. A metaphor for life/tennis careers.]

Tak przy okazji: czy Eurosport Player/Extra nie będzie pokazywał kwalifikacji? AusOpen i Roland Garros były. Nie ma żadnej zapowiedzi US Open na Playerze, ani zakładki ani grafiki a kwale już jutro🤔

Admin excess, who opened this thread, has been permanently banned! I wonder why. The Banned Users thread cites repeated violations of the code of conduct as the reason, which is rather vague. And it's unlikely that we learn anything more, as the administration considers such matters to be between them, the banned poster involved and no one else. It's not a healthy practice, I dare say. The ban policy should be transparent.

I asked in EE, apparently excess posted an user's warning publicly, which is a no-no. Seems weird to me that the mods would ban one of their own over this, though. Perhaps there was something behind the scenes that didn't sit well with the rest of the staff.

Hmmm... Warnings could be considered confidential if ban reasons were public. But if everything is secret, how will the forum members know how the rules are interpreted by the administration? Not healthy, let me repeat.

Supporting them & wishing success. They are to play the World Champs final against Italy at 21.00 CET. They have a good chance to win, as they have already beaten the most challenging rival, Brazil. Besides, there's a pattern in the volleyball World Champs valid since 1990's - the title is won in triplets. First, Italy won three times in a row between 1990 and 1998. Then came Brazil with three titles in years 2002-2010. Poland have already won in 2014 and 2018 - so it's the time for the third hit!
