sounds about right. With dani looking at them (NS&Mother) for either encouragement or to make sure she did something right, she's not going to develop that mental toughness. Sometimes you do make mistakes which you don't need other people to tell you about, its what's called learning.GrahamD said:"No one else can do that for them. You can give them all the support but she's got to be the one that wins matches herself."
So maybe NS is saying that he shouldn't be courtside.
Agree!JLDementieva said:I think Nigel did hit on a couple of good points there. I think he's the one who understands Daniela's situation more than anyone else
Patience bracey!bracey said:As much as I wish NS to stay, he says Dani's return to excellence will take time. How much time does he have? If the programme is too arduous-or literally taking forever, NS will be dismissed.
Oh!bracey said:That wasn't a rhetorical question. I was actually asking how long we think he has
Can't agree more.bracey said:I think an ultimatum would be detrimental if Nigel was made aware of it. Nigel should be able to work under relaxed conditions in order to achieve the best of his player. Dani will know when his efforts are pointless.
However, I agree, 6 months is probably fair. If, after a break, there are no improvements he will be under immense pressure.
