For those that are interested anyway
I was very happy to read in this weeks TA newsletter that Christina is recovering well from her injury and will be back on the courts for the Aussie challenger circuit beginning in October
I'm hoping she can finally make her debut at the Australian Open next year (be it qualies or main draw), where she has cruelly been robbed of a spot the last 2 years because of injuries...this girl has had such rotten luck with injuries, that I'm sure she'd be top 200 by now (or close) considering she has played a total of 6 months in the last 2 years and has gotten to no.315 in the process.
We haven't seen her since she re-injured herself at Mt.Gambier in November during a doubles match...here's hoping that she can *finally* get a decent break and show us what she can do
